Presenting......JOE'S MIDNIGHT RUN!!!

For almost a year, Rick has been working so hard for this moment.  Words cannot explain how extremely proud I am of him.  He had a vision, and never gave up, even though there were tons of obstacles.  This past weekend, on Friday was friends and family night and Saturday was VIP night.  We were blessed to have Vanessa, Jerico, Adri, and Lindsay fly out from Chicago to join us for this  very special event.   Today, Tuesday, it opens to the public.  The buzz around Phoenix is tremendous and so flattering.  Joe's Midnight Run will be a hit!

The cocktail called, "El Chiquito", named after my dad.
That was and is his nickname since he was a little boy

"The Peruvian Sunrise" you can guess who laid claim to this cocktail!  My mom!!

Baby Luca!!

We were so lucky to have my sister in law, Abbi, and her son, Luca visit us from Chicago.  Abbi was here for a work conference, so Tia Erica got to spend all 3 days with Luca!!  I had forgotten what it was like to have a baby around.  How did I do it with two?!?!  As you can see from the pics, he is a sweet and very happy little boy.  And Eva was SO excited to help care for him.  Sofia was happier enjoying him from afar, hahahaha!!!
We love you Luca!

Famous Person Report

In third grade, the students have to do a famous person report.  Eva chose Gloria Steinem and Sofia chose Amelia Earhart.  They dress up as their famous person and present their report in front of their peers and the parents.  The girls got an A+ on their reports!!! Yay!!!

Go Hawks!!

Once a year, the Arizona Coyotes are guaranteed to play the Chicago Blackhawks.  Luckily, this year we got them twice!  So for the second game, Rick and I treated ourselves to first row tickets.  Nothing like the excitement of feeling like you are in the game, and being able to bang on the glass!!
The Hawks won in overtime!!  GO HAWKS!!!

The Color Run!!

We had so much running through all the colors during our 5K!
