Marlene and Chopi Visit!

My parents' best friends made a trip out with them in May to visit us.  It was such a pleasure having them at our house, and being able to show them around town and eat at Joe's with them.  Hopefully they return soon.

It ended up that for the weekend of the girls' communion, it was also my birthday.  How wonderful to be able to celebrate my birthday with my whole family!!  And what better place to do it, than Joe's Midnight Run

Schoolhouse Rock Jr. musical

The musical the girls did this year was Schoolhouse Rock.  They did such a great job, as usual.  And this time they got to share the experience with one of their best friends, Ada!

First Communion

On May 14th, Eva and Sofia received their first communion.  Their godmother, Tia Vy, could not be present during the mass, so their Tia Vanessa subbed in for her.  It was such a special and wonderful day.  They both looked so beautiful. 

Girls' Birthday Trip to Las Vegas!!

So this year for the girls' birthday trip, we took them to Las Vegas to see a magic show and Cirque du Soleil's "O" show.  The magic show was amazing and funny at the same time. And of course, "O" was just breathtaking!!  They loved both show and we all had a wonderful time!

Every year, it surprises me how much my babies have grown.  They are such amazing loving and smart young ladies.  They make Rick and I so proud everyday.
