Visiting Tia Lindsay and Caroline

Today we took a trip to Libertyville to visit Tia Lindsay and the girls' Godsister, Caroline.

It was fun seeing them all together.

It'll be even better in a year or two when they can actually play with each other.

Uncle Herb

We had the pleasure of having Herb visit us this Monday and Tuesday. He was great with the girls. As you can see from his t-shirt, they left him a little souvenir.

We can't wait to have him back soon.

Las Argentinas

Not even the cutest cheerleaders could get Argentina to beat Brazil in the Copa America. We lost 3-0. Maybe next time.

The girls are getting much better at holding their heads up, so I decided to try out the Bumbo chairs we got at one of the baby showers.

Tia Lindsay and Tio Kevin

We love getting visitors, especially when they are as special as Lindsay and Kevin. Here are the girls with their Tia and Tio. Eva and Sofia are soon going to have a new friend. Lindsay is due on August 17th with her second child, a boy!! We all can't wait to meet him.

Saturday all of us walked to Belmont Harbor and enjoyed a picnic lunch. It was a beautiful day!!

Family Trip to the Dog Beach!!!

We went to the dog beach over the weekend. The boys love it there. And the girls love the cozy nap they take snuggled up with Mama and Papa.

We Love Bathtime!

One of my most favorite times of day is bathtime. The girls love to get a bath. They love the feeling of the spray on their bodies. It must feel like a little massage to them.

We are getting so big!

It is amazing how fast my little girls are growing. They seem to change everyday. They are both now cooing, and smiling. They will stare at you intensely with their big brown eyes. But their favorite thing to look at are the skylights in our bedroom. They could stare at those for hours.

Happy Father's Day!!

Sunday was Rick's first father's day. His girls wore special outfits that day, to make sure everybody knew how much they love their Papa. The girls and I are very lucky to have him in our lives.

My dad also celebrated his first father's day as a grandpa, or as the girls call him, Nono (Italian for grandpa). And as you can see both Nono and Abuelito (Rick's dad) are proud of their granddaughters.

Our Nona and Tia

Our Nona and Tia Marlene came to visit us yesterday. Our Tia bought us the most beautiful outfits and dresses, and our Nona also bought us a pair of cute outfits. We are very thankful!!!
