On Thursday, me, Eva, Sofia, Vanessa, and Thomas went ice skating at one of the outdoor rinks. Alfredo also came along, as photographer (thanks Alfredo!) It was a beautiful day to enjoy outside. And even though, the girls don't know how to skate yet, they had a fun time!

FELIZ NAVIDAD!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
As tradition would have it, we spent Christmas Eve night at my parents' house. For the first time, since the girls were born, we went to midnight mass, which is really at 10pm, not midnight. After church, we went to the house and had a delicious dinner, and THEN we opened our presents. The girls, as usual, made out with many many wonderful gifts. We had fun spending noche buena with our family. So much, that we didn't get home until 4AM!!

Navy Pier Winter Wonderfest!
For the second year, we took the girls to the Navy Pier Winter Wonderfest. We started off first going to see Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. They got to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Eva wanted a "Baby Alive" doll, and Sofia wanted "Squinkies". After our visit with Santa, we headed to the festival to enjoy all the rides and attractions. We had a great time, other than me and Eva getting sick on the "Twirl-a-whirl". I am way too old for those rides and Eva just didn't like it. Now we know for next year!

Cordova Christmas Party!!
Another Christmas season is upon us, and that means another Cordova Christmas party!! This year we started off the night with an official wine-tasting. Followed by a delicious and fun fondue dinner. We had 4 fondue pots to share amongst the 18 people at the party. Thankfully, everything worked out well. At the end of the night, we all had a great time!
Merry Christmas!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
This year Thanksgiving was at our house. We had both sides of the family over. I must say, that the turkey came out delicious and very moist. I was very proud of myself!!
Our Last Tailgate!
So this year we ended up tailgating 4 times before the Bears games. This last game with the San Diego Chargers was our fourth and last time this season. We, of course won the game 31-20, BUT we lost Cutler with a broken thumb. I would have preferred losing the game, if it meant that Cutler was still playing. Oh well, that's the game of football.
GO BEARS!
