On Saturday April 26th, we had the girls' first birthday party. All the family came to celebrate a wonderful day. Eva and Sofia had so much fun, and hung in there well past their bedtime. Here are plenty of pictures from that day.

Peek-a-Boo
Like I have said before, the best part of having twins is seeing them interact with each other. If one is crying, the other will go up to her and give her a hug and kiss. And they will also randomly just kiss and hug each other. I have also noticed this last week, that they actually play with each other. They will chase each other around crawling while screaming and laughing. They will also stand on either side of the coffee table and play peek-a-boo. I was able to record some of their peek-a-boo game, but it was already at the tale end.
At the Park
It has been so much fun enjoying the outdoors. We went to the park today, and I introduced the girls to grass. Eva was fine with it, crawling around like nothing. But Sofia would not touch it. She would just sit with her hands up to make sure she would not touch the grass. And if by accident she did touch it, she would scream. I guess it'll take her a couple times to get use to it.
Happy Birthday Nono!!!

GO CUBS!!!!!
We are making sure the girls know who their favorite baseball team is. Hopefully, this season we will take them to their first Cubs game.
"Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey, Chicago what'd you say, Cubs are gonna to win today!!"
Visiting Caroline and Clayton
About two weeks ago, Tia Lindsay invited us over for lunch. It was great seeing all the kids together. And as they all get older they are able to interact with each other more. Here are a few pictures of the girls with Caroline and Clayton, and the girls with Caroline. Eva and Sofia were fascinated by Caroline, her pretty hair, her barette, her pretty face.

1st Easter
This was the girls first Easter. Though they really didn't get the significance of the day, they still had a good time. We started off at church with my family and then over to my parents' house for lunch. Then had dinner at Rick's older brother's place, where the girls had their first Easter egg hunt.

Spring is in the Air!!
Finally, we are having some good weather. The girls and I have been taking advantage of these warmer days. Today I decided to go to the park for the first time. As you can see from the pictures, Eva LOVED the swing, but Sofia not so much. Sofia had more fun watching Eva swing back and forth while in my arms. This is going to be a fun Spring and Summer!!!
Tub in a Tub
Well, after the first time we bath the girls in the big tub, Eva decided that she didn't like anymore. The second time she started crying five minutes after she got in, which set off Sofia crying. The third time she wouldn't even put a toe in the water with out sreaming and climbing up me. So that time I bathed her in the little tub, which she loved. So for the next time I tried putting the baby tub into the big tub to see if that would work. Well, it did. So for now, Eva bathes in the little tub on one side of the big tub and Sofia sit in the big tubon the other side.
