Happy Thanksgiving!!

It was Eva and Sofia's first thanksgiving. We spent the afternoon with Rick's family and the evening with my family. It was a busy day, but the girls enjoyed seeing everyone very much.

Ready for Winter

The girls are getting their first taste of the cold weather. But as you can see they are prepared. We are still able to enjoy our walks, all 5 of us!!

6 Months Old!!!

The girls are getting so big. They are now 6 months old. Sofia already has her first tooth, Eva not yet. But Eva is about to start crawling. Both can sit on their own, at least for a little while, before tipping over. They are so much fun to be with. I can't wait for what's to come!!

Rick does his second Marathon!!

Rick ran his second marathon today. Carlos, Rick's younger brother, also ran today. It was his first time. It was a record heat of 88 degrees!!! Not many people can do 26.2 MILES, but they both did!!! The girls and I are sooooo proud of them. We love them very much!!! Here is a video of Rick when we caught up with him at mile 8.

First time for Cereal!

Since the girls are now 5 months, I decided to try to feed them cereal for the first time. Sofia thought it was gross and Eva just wanted to suck on the spoon. Oh well, we'll try again later.

Music Appreciation

On Wednesdays at noon Power 92.3 plays my favorite music.... Old School House!! So from 12 to 1 the girls and I are able to appreciate some great music!

Eva and Sofia are Baptized!!

The girls were baptized on Sunday September 16th at St. Joseph's church. That is the same church that Rick and I were married in. The girls were VERY grouchy and sleepy, so throughout the whole ceremony they cried!!! It's amazing how noises echo through the church! Anyways, we got through it and they were happy after we got home and they were fed and took a short nap.Those are my girls!!!

Here are the girls with their Uncle Aaron!! He is actually Eva's godfather, and he flew out to Chicago from Los Angeles to be here for the baptism. We are lucky to have him as part of our family now!!
