On Wednesday, the girls and I went over to Lindsay's parents' house to have a playdate with Lindsay, Caroline, and Clayton. Afterwards, we went to Walker Brothers' for lunch. YUMM!!!
Monday night we carved pumpkins with the girls for the first time. They were very interested in the feel and taste of the pumpkins, more so than the carving
On Sunday Oct. 26th we went to the Roscoe Village halloween festival. They hold at the Audobon Elementary school. Each classroom has a different halloween activity. As you can see the girls were dressed up in their halloween costumes that I made them. Anyone in the mood for a little Peanut Butter and Jelly?!?!
Every year my family I set aside a day to spend together. Last year because the girls were still so young we didn't do anything, BUT this year we did. We went to Oriole Springs Apple Orchard in Twin Lakes, WI to go apple and pumpkin picking. Then finished off the day having dinner at The Yardhouse in the Glenn, which I highly recommend. YUM!! We had such a great time, and got to enjoy a beautiful fall day with the people we love the most.
Today my mom, me, Eva, and Sofia went to the Garfield Park Conservatory. This place is so beautiful. You feel like you are in a tropical forest, so lush and green. Unfortunately, it was raining so we weren't able to see the outside gardens, but that will give us a reason to return. The pictures I took do the place no justice what so ever, but here they are anyways.
