I'm back!!!!!

After an extremely long hiatus, I am back on my blog.  It turns out the problem was the computer I was using.  It would not allow me to access my blog.  But for Christmas, my wonderful husband, his name is Rick (just in case you were wondering) bought me a new touchscreen laptop.  Today, I posted my first blog in over one year!!  So now, whether you like it or not, you will begin to receive blog updates once again!!    

Aladdin Jr. Musical

The girls were in their first musical last year in May.  The production was Aladdin Jr.  They LOVED doing it and soaked up every minute on stage.  We were very proud of them.

 

 

 

Breakfast with Santa

On Saturday, we went to The Phoenician, a resort hotel, to have breakfast with Santa.  The food was delicious and the hotel is beautiful.

A New Tradition

So this year, since we are no longer living in Chicago, we moved our Christmas party to a remote site.  With late notice, many of the usual suspects were able to make it out Saturday night, to Ay Ay Picante, for some delicious food, BYOB, and great company.  I think this will be the new tradition.  Don't worry, next year we'll let everyone know ahead of time, so all can be there.

I was so excited to take the girls to see the musical Wicked.  I had seen it 3 times already, and this being my 4th, was even more wonderful.  The reactions and looks on their faces were unforgettable.  Needless, to say, they loved it!

Nothing compares to the Christmas in Chicago.  The lights, the music, the decorations, and the weather, all give it a true feeling of Christmas.

The Ultimate Update!!

So from the last entry, which was in March, to now, a lot has happened.  We bought a house in Phoenix, sold our Chicago house, completely gutted and rehabbed our Phoenix house, moved to Phoenix, and in October, finally, moved into our dream house!  I think the blog would crash if I tried to post all the pictures from then to now, so I will just add the ones

that show the most significant events.
