Skiing in Big Bear, California

Over New years day, Rick, me, the girls, Keegan (the girls' best friend), and the our friends the Hamiltons went skiing to Big Bear.  This time we rented a townhouse right off the slopes.  What a fun and wonderful time.  The kids had ski school morning and afternoon, and us adults got to ski by ourselves.  After ski school, we then got to spend time with the kids.  Everyone was happy!  Definitely a tradition we will try to keep up.

Go Hawks!

Over Christmas break, we took the girls to see their very first Blackhawks game.  They were obviously playing the Arizona Coyotes, and as you can see from the scoreboard picture, the Hawks won!!  The girls had SO much fun!  They loved it and asked to go again!  We most definitely will!
GO HAWKS!!

Feliz Navidad!

It was such a blessing to have my Tia Tere with all of us on Christmas.  It had been over 20 years since we had last spent Christmas together.  Needless to say,
we had a wonderful and unforgettable time!

Sedona

While my aunt was here, we took her to Sedona so she could experience its beauty in person.  We started our visit having lunch at L'Auberge.  What a delicious meal!  We then followed up lunch with a beautiful walk around Sedona.  We had a wonderful afternoon!

Enjoying Phoenix

It was great once my parents arrived, to see my dad and my aunt, his sister, together.  What a special time we all spent with each other.

The Nutcracker Ballet

We took my aunt to go see the Phoenix Ballet perform the Nutcracker.  What a beautiful performance!  The costumes were breathe taking and their interpretation of it was very entertaining and beautiful.  I must say, I enjoyed it more than the one I saw in Chicago several years ago.  We all had a great time!
