This year, my birthday and mother's day fell on the same day, May 13th! The last time this happened, was on my very first mother's day, 5 years ago. I must say, that it is so special to be able to celebrate those two occasions together. I had a beautiful day. We started off with brunch at the Red Canary, and then headed to my parents to spend the rest of the day there. Not only was the weather perfect, but we, as a family, found our first cache. Yes, we went geocaching!! So much fun! I definitely recommend it if you have never done it before. Anyways, the day ended with a delicious barbeque and yummy cake. Nothing could have been better!
