Rick and I went to the Blackhawks game on Thursday night here in Phoenix. It was my first live hockey game. WOW!! What an amazing and exciting experience!!! We were seated in the second row behind the glass, so every time the puck or the players would hit up against it, it felt and sounded like it was going to shatter. It's an intense experience!
What was even more surprising, was it felt like we were at the United Center, playing against the Coyotes. Without exaggerating, 80% of the crowd were Blackhawk fans. It proves how strong of a Chicago presence there is in Phoenix.
The Hawks won 2-1!! Definitely something we will do every time they come play against the Arizona Coyotes.
