A Visit to Lamb's Farm

On Thursday we met Tia Lindsay, Caroline, Clayton, and Austin at Lamb's farm. The girls had a great time! They love farm animals, and they loved hanging out with their Godsister and brothers.

Happy Birthday Papa!!!

On Sunday July12th was Rick's 34th birthday. On the Friday before, I took him to Orso's for dinner and to go see the new Transformers movie at the Imax( which was awesome!) Then on Sunday, me and the girls took him out for breakfast to our favorite local spot, and for dinner all the family went to Cafe Iberico. He had a great birthday weekend, well deserved!
We love you Papa!!

Happy 4th of July!!

For the holiday weekend, Rick and I decided to take a spontateous trip to Washington DC. We drove out on Wednesday night, to arrive in DC Thursday afternoon. We were a little worried about the 13 hour drive for the girls, but they were great!! Since we drove out at night, they slept the whole way their until 7am when we stopped for breakfast. And then on the drive home, they were also great, playing with their coloring books, reading books, and watching movies on the portable DVD player that we bought.
While in DC, we visited all the monuments, which were amazing to see in person, we went to the zoo, and also visited local playlots for the girls. Rick's older brother, Mani, is living there right now, so we were able to spend the weekend with him too. Plus it turns out my sister, Vanessa, was out there visiting her boyfriend, Alfredo, so we all spent the 4th together watching the fireworks. All in all, it was a wonderful trip!!

"Are we almost there yet?"

"How much longer?"

"Yeah!! We are finally here!"
