Last week, on Wednesday, me and the girls took our annual field trip downtown. We started with a train ride to get to Millenium park. Once there we enjoyed the fountains, the gardens, of course The Bean, Family Fun Fest, and had a picnic lunch in between. From Millenium, we then walked down Michigan avenue, and once we arrived at the river, we decided to take a water taxi to the Sears Tower and back. It was a fun 30 minute boat ride, with no tour guide, just us enjoying the views of our spectacular skyline. After our little ride, we contiued down Michigan avenue to the Water Tower, where we finally jumped on the train and headed back home. As we were on the train, the girls said to me, " Mama, that was a great day! Thank you!" My feelings exactly!
