So after 3 years of dating, Alfredo proposed to Vanessa at our Roscoe-palooza party, on stage, in front of all of Chicago. It took a lot of planning on his part, especially since he had all his family fly in for the engagement without Vanessa knowing anything. Not until they were on stage did she see his family down in front. Trust me, to keep something from Vanessa is a very difficult task. But, he pulled it off. She never suspected a thing! It was so exciting being able to witness them take the next step in their relationship. They love each other, respect each other, and make each other happy. I could not have asked for a better brother-in-law!
This also was our last Roscoe-palooza party. I think it was an amazing way of closing it up, with an engagment, and about 50 of our closest friends and family!
